An outstanding whole duck foie gras entier (the best foie gras grade available) prepared by Castaing in the Landes region of South West France – a fairly recent introduction in this size and an immediate success with our customers.

Castaing are reputed for producing very high quality foie gras (they supply the “Grande Epicerie” – the Paris equivalent to our Harrods or Fortnums) – and their foie gras “entier” are the best they do.

These little jars are ideal as a special starter for two and also make wonderful gourmet gifts.

At it’s best served cool (this is important!) in fine slices on some lightly toasted and finely sliced bread, together with a wine jelly, compote or chutney.
