Edouard Artzner were founded in 1803 in Strasbourg (in the Alsace region of Eastern France) and are one of France’s oldest and most reputed foie gras producers.
Foie gras “entier” refers to the fact that “whole” foie gras pieces (and the best quality ones) above all are used to make this foie gras. We rate this one of the best goose foie gras we have tried with near perfect texture and wonderful flavour.
Presented in easy to open screw top jars, which is still something of a novelty in the world of foie gras.
Foie gras d’oie entier is best enjoyed served cool in fine slices on some lightly toasted white bread or brioche together with a wine jelly or chutney of your choice.
