Description

Award winning tins of two portion duck confit from South West France – each tin has 3 years life in a kitchen cupboard.

Each tin contains 2 – 3 duck legs (depending on weight) and serves two very generously.

We sell a few thousand tins of these duck confit each year and the reason is it tastes so good – the meat is tender/ delicious and melts in the mouth.

Very easy to prepare (please scroll for detailed preparation tips) – 180c oven for 20 minutes skin side up until golden brown with side of your choice!

Storage: Store duck confit in a cupboard. Once opened store in fridge and consume within 3 days.

Cooking Preparation Tips

Before opening your tin of duck confit, place it in warm water for 10 minutes. This helps loosen the duck fat and makes it easier to prise out the duck legs.

Remove duck legs from tin and place in an oven tray or grill and cook at middling heat (180c) until golden brown.

With regards accompaniments, duck confit goes well with roast potatoes, salad, lentils, you can add it to lingot beans to make your own cassoulet …

Keep the duck fat, which you can use to roast potatoes.
