La Belle Iloise Soupe De Poissons Bretonne (400g Serves 2) Recommended

A delicious, 100% natural French fish soup from Brittany, which makes a lovely French starter for two.

La Belle Iloise Soupe de Poisson Bretonne comes from the fishing port of Quiberon in Brittany and is high in fish content and has a superb and well balanced flavour.

Ingredients? Water, fish (37%), tomato concentrate, potato flour, salt, yeast extract (contains barley), natural flavourings and spices.

Shelf Life & Storage? Store in a cupboard up to date on tin (minimum 6 months). Once open we recommend using it in one serving, although it can be stored in a fridge up to 3 days.

How To Enjoy Your Soupe Bretonne!

Simply open the tin, pour the soup into a saucepan, and warm it gently until hot.

The soup tastes so good, we find it is perfect on it’s own. But if you wanted to turn it into a meal, you can serve it with fried bread croutons, rouille and some grated Emmental cheese.

Another way to enjoy/ use this fish soup is to dilute it with water  (approx. one part fish soup to one part water) to use it as a liquid to poach pieces of fish in.
