About this product
This Beluga Caviar is one of the best we have tasted, and many of our regular customers agree. We introduced it to our range in 2013 and it quickly became a customer favourite. It is one of our best selling caviars.
Beluga Caviar has the largest egg and is the most expensive of all the usual sturgeon caviars. This Beluga caviar is from Huso Huso/Baerii (Beluga/Siberian) hybrid stock, which reaches maturity some 10 years quicker than a pure Beluga sturgeon. The eggs are dark grey in colour, c3mm in diameter and have a fine creamy taste but with a more robust flavour than the pure Huso Huso due to the influence of the Baerii.
It comes from a spring fed, out door farm in northern Italy where the attention to detail is phenomenal. The water quality, temperature, food and processing is all rigorously monitored, and the results are plain to taste.

Arrived with minimum fuss, what was nice was the delivery driver Julie made sure to deliver it in person and not just leave it somewhere. The caviar itself was delicious, creamy and full of flavour and a nice addition to the Christmas table.
