A very enjoyable dish indeed prepared for us by Castaing in the Landes region of South West France.
Essentially this dish is a a sort of French duck Shepherds pie – it is very tasty indeed and one jar serves one large appetite, or two more moderate appetites.
Simply warm up gently in a saucepan and warm gently or place in an oven dish (in which case 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 170c).
Like all the Castaing range, of very high quality and 100% natural.
Potatoes, duck confit meat, water, cream, onions, chicken, leeks, carrots, salt, white wine (contains sulphites), butter, modified corn starch, aromatic plants, garlic, pepper, celery, tomato concentrate, nutmeg, Espelette pepper, clove.
Store in a cool dry place. Once open, store in a fridge 0-4c and consume within 3 days.
