About this product
Rouille is a very enjoyable garlic based mayonnaise (orange in colour), which is the traditional accompaniment enjoyed with fish soup (together with fried bread croutons).
Rouille has a garlicky flavour and adds extra depth of flavour and a certain smoothness to the consistency of the soup.
Can be stored a year in a cupboard.
Prepared by Maison Perard in Le Touquet, Northern France.
Ingredients
Rapeseed oil, water, garlic puree, salt, pepper, sugar, spices, modified starch, gum arabic, xanthan gum, tara gum.
Shelf Life
1 year.
Storage
Store in a cupboard. Once open store in a fridge and use within 3 days.
Cooking Preparation Tips
Simply add a tea spoon of rouille to your bowl of Perard soup and stir.
