A traditional French venison terrine seasoned with Juniper berries.

This pate has great flavour, a pleasant and appetising colour, good texture and the taste of juniper cuts through the stronger game flavour – really outstanding.

Delicious, served cool, on some lightly toasted French bread or fresh loaf.

Entirely natural and preservative free.

A popular addition to French food gift hampers.

Prepared by Castaing in the Landes region of South West France.

Ingredients

Pork meat and fat, venison (20%), eggs, red wine (sulfite), poultry liver, starch, gelatine, salt, armagnac, shallots, aroma (gluten), spices (juniper berries), garlic, sugar, armoatic plants.
