A very high-quality semi – fresh goose foie “entier” (the best grade available) gras mi – cuit prepared by Edouard Artzner in Strasbourg with 5% of whole black truffle slices.
Semi fresh “mi cuit”foie gras have a slightly fuller flavour than the fully preserved foie gras, which some connoisseurs prefer.
Overall, the depth of taste and texture are just wonderful and the flavour of truffle adds yet another layer of taste to this excellent foie gras.
Makes a very special starter for 4 for special occasions and an exceptional foie gras.
If you want to enjoy foie gras at it’s very best, we recommend enjoying it cool (remove from fridge 10 minutes prior to serving) on some finely sliced good quality white bread (toasted or untoasted), a few salt crystals/ fresh or dried figs or a chutney/ wine jelly of your choice.
