A good quality duck foie gras prepared by Castaing foie gras specialists in the Landes region of South West France.
Very enjoyable flavour and at it’s best served cool, finely sliced, on some lightly toasted bread with a sauternes wine jelly or fig chutney.
Alternatively just adding a little salt and pepper works very well too!
Duck foie gras 88%, water, port wine, salt, spices, sugar, antixoydant (sodium ascorbate), preserving agent (sodium nitrite)
3 years in a cool dry place. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 2 days.
Best served cool in some fine slices on lightly toasted bread. Goes well with a fig chutney or sauternes wine jelly.
