Greek Feta cheese made from sheep and goats milk in the mountainous region of Almyros, central Greece, an officially recognised feta producing province enjoying PDO status.
We’ve tried many fetas, and find the Roussas brand of feta consistently very good, and one of the best feta cheeses we have tried. Interestingly, our warehouse neighbours are Cypriot, and having tried it said it was the best feta they had tried!
At it’s best eaten with some chopped rosemary on top and a little extra virgin olive oil.
Contains sheep’s Milk and Goat’s Milk.
