About this product
On sale today at less 33% and so a good time to order!
High quality duck confit prepared by La Belle Chaurienne in Castelnaudary. This traditional French delicacy involves slow cooking duck legs for hours, resulting in incredibly tender meat.
Each tin contains four duck legs preserved in their own fat.
Shelf Life & Storage? Confit can be stored in a cupboard 2 years. Once opened store in fridge and consume within 3 days.
Ingredients? Duck legs, duck fat, salt.
Duck Confit Preparation Tips
Allow your tin of duck confit to sit at room temperature for a few hours. This helps loosen the duck fat, making it easier to remove the duck legs.
After that, remove the duck legs, brushing off any excess fat, and place them in an oven dish. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake the confit for about 25 minutes until it becomes crisp and golden brown.
Confit pairs wonderfully with roast potatoes, a fresh side salad, lentils, cassoulet beans, or braised red cabbage for a complete meal.

I tried this product a while ago and it was delicious. I also kept the fat to roast my potatoes in.

We have bought these duck legs several times and the fact that we keep going back for more says it all. They are delicious, easy to warm, and we are left with lovely duck fat for our roast potatoes. Wonderful.
