About this product
Dry porcini mushrooms – cepes “surchoix”, which are the best porcini of all and even better than our “EXTRA” grade porcini, which are already something special. They have been specially selected as the best of the harvest.
The main advantage of using such high quality mushrooms is that the flavour they will add to your recipes is even better!
Plantin, our French mushroom supplier, have a reputation for quality, and the flavour these dry porcini will give to dishes is just superb.
Dried porcini mushrooms work well in risottos, porcini pasta and polenta dishes, and cream based sauces and soups.
Rehydrate dried porcini for 45 minutes in tepid water and carefully rinse them a few times to remove any grit.
You can keep the water you soak them in to add further flavour to your dish too!
