About this product
Prepared by Maison Godard in the renowned Périgord region of southwest France, this exceptional free-range duck confit is made using a traditional method that has been perfected over generations. The duck leg is gently slow-cooked in its own fat until wonderfully tender, preserving its rich flavour while creating the melt-in-the-mouth texture that has made duck confit one of France’s best-loved gourmet specialities.
How to prepare confit?
- Remove the tin from the cupboard and allow it to reach room temperature for approximately 1 hour.
- Open the tin and carefully remove the duck leg.

Side Dishes?
- Duck-fat roasted potatoes.
