Description

A very high quality beluga caviar which is frequently re-ordered by our regular customers with so far 100% positive feedback – always a good sign!

This Beluga Caviar is one of the best we have tasted – the eggs are dark grey in colour, 3 – 3.5mm in diameter and have a fine creamy taste with a hint of walnut.

It comes from a spring fed, out door farm in Western Europe where the attention to detail is phenomenal and this tells in the taste.

Beluga Caviar has the largest egg and is the most expensive of all caviars. This Beluga caviar is from Huso Huso/Baerii (Beluga/Siberian) hybrid stock, which is the mainstay of farmed Beluga production as it reaches maturity some 10 years quicker than a pure Beluga sturgeon.

This caviar has the egg size and taste expected of Beluga but not the price – highly recommended.

    Storage:Please note that all caviar products should be refrigerated upon receipt. Once opened, consume within 48 hours.
    Shelf Life:2-3 weeks refrigerated: can be stored at 0 - 4c but even better stored at minus 2c-0c. We tend to give our caviar fairly conservative (short) dates as if stored much longer in a domestic fridge, caviar can lose in freshness of flavour and the taste can become a little flat.

    How best to enjoy your caviar?

    1. Eat a little on a spoon to enjoy the taste in it’s purest form!

    2. Add a little to a blini, with butter or sour cream and chives – makes a great canape.

    3. Can be enjoyed on toasted dark rye bread with scrambled eggs.

    4. Traditionally drinks to accompany caviar include chilled vodka or champagne.
