A very good quality goose foie gras with a black truffle centre.
Prepared for us by Castaing foie gras specialists in the Landes region of South West France. Castaing supply La Grande Epicerie in Paris (the French equivalent to Harrods) and their foie gras are superb.
Shelf Life & Storage? Can be stored in a cupboard up to 1 year minimum. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.
Foie Gras Serving Tips
Best served cool with some sauternes wine jelly or fig chutney, cut into fine slices served on some finely sliced bread.
