A really delicious lobster bisque prepared by La Belle Iloise in the fishing port of Quiberon in Brittany.
When you open the tin, the smell is really appetising, and the flavour (even tasted cold!) very fine and wonderfully balanced.
The dominant notes of this lobster bisque are seafood, white wine and a background note of vegetables. An outstanding recipe and makes a delicious starter for two for a special French meal worthy of a good meal out.
La Belle – Iloise deserve their reputation as one of the best fish soup makers in France.
To enjoy, open your La Belle Iloise bisque de homard tin, pour into a saucepan, and warm gently until hot. Serves two.
You can also add croutons and rouille but we feel that this is not necessary as the flavour is so good.
