A very high quality and 100% natural goose confit cassoulet prepared for us by Maison Godard in the French Perigord region. As good as cassoulet gets!
100% natural, tasty, very practical and a delicious French meal for two! Also handy as you can store the tins (unopened) in a cupboard for when needed!
Cassoulet is a sort of meat stew (tender goose confit in this case), cooked with Quercy sausages in a flavoursome lingot bean sauce. A very satisfying dish!
Preparation Tips And Serving Suggestion! Pour cassoulet into a wide over dish and spread out along the base. Put the pieces of meat above the beans. Warm 15-20 minutes in an over pre-heated at 180c. Serve very hot.
If you are pressed for time, you can also pour contents into a saucepan, add a tiny amount of water, and warm gently.
Cassoulet does not require a side dish and is a complete meal in itself. But if you did want a side, we would recommend a salad of your choice.
Goose confit, Query sausage, lingot beans, sauce (duck stock, onion, tomato concentrate, duck fat, modified starch, corn flour, wheat, celery, salt, garlic, parsley, spices, sugar).
Store in a cool dry place. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 2 days.
