Very high quality hot smoked eel fillets prepared for us by the reputed Severn & Wye smokery.

Severn And Wye, our supplier, has a Royal Warrant, and is one of the most reputed fish smokeries in England and smoke all their fish following traditional methods using top quality ingredients.

The texture of the eel melts in the mouth and we feel the smoking is just right and not too heavily smoked.

Smoked eel fillets are best enjoyed at room temperature with either horseradish paste (a traditional accompaniment to smoked eel) or a few drops of lemon. And perhaps some lightly toasted and finely sliced rye bread.

With regards wine pairings, a chilled Sancerre would work perfectly!

A few other ways to enjoy smoked eel are
