A high quality duck confit prepared for us by La Belle Chaurienne in Castelnaudary. This traditional French delicacy involves slow cooking duck legs for hours, resulting in incredibly tender meat.
Each tin contains four duck legs preserved in their own fat.
With a shelf life of two years, you can store your tin of confit easily in your cupboard.

Duck Confit Preparation Tips
Allow your tin of duck confit to sit at room temperature for a few hours. This helps loosen the duck fat, making it easier to remove the duck legs.
After that, remove the duck legs, brushing off any excess fat, and place them in an oven dish. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Bake the confit for about 25 minutes until it becomes crisp and golden brown.
Confit pairs wonderfully with roast potatoes, a fresh side salad, lentils, cassoulet beans, or braised red cabbage for a complete meal.
