Tinned fish is not well known in the UK and the little we do have is more a commodity than fine food. The contrary can be said in both Spain and France, where canning high quality fish and seafood to create a gourmet product is a long established tradition. Ortiz (in Spain) and Conserverie Courtin and La Belle Iloise (in France) have decades experience in sourcing and preparing very high quality seafood specialities (tuna fillets, mackerel fillets, sardines, even mussels), which are canned. Ideal for a healthy gourmet starter!
