Plantin, our French dry mushroom supplier, have a reputation for quality, and the flavour these dry porcini will give to dishes is just superb.
Dried porcini mushrooms work well in risottos, pasta and polenta dishes, and cream based sauces and soups.
How T0 Rehydrate Dry Porcini Mushrooms
Rehydrate dried porcini for 45 minutes in tepid water and carefully rinse them a few times to remove any grit.
You can keep the water you soak them in to add further flavour to your dish too!
And then cook them as you wish, saute with garlic and parsley, add to soups, stews, sauces …
