Duck Cassoulet (840g Tin Serves Two)

Cassoulet is a French meat and bean stew prepared with duck, Toulouse sausages and lingot beans, all slow cooked to create a very satisfying meal for two. Also very convivial to serve when entertaining and very easy!

Simply requires warming gently in a saucepan until hot. Or if you have more time, place contents in an oven dish and cook circa 180c for 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with a side salad and cassoulet goes very well with any red wine of your choice.

Cassoulet is naturally gluten free, prepared with 100% natural ingredients and surprisingly low in calories.

Storage is very easy as these are preserves with a long shelf life of two years (cupboard storage is fine).

Further Preparation Tips

You can add different flavour dimensions to your cassoulet in simple ways such as adding fried sliced shallots and garlic to add a sweeter flavour, adding a few teaspoons of tomato concentrate and/ or stock to give it a more open texture, you can add chorizo for smokiness
