Roasted Shoulder of Pork (450g Tin 3/4 Portions)

What can we say about this speciality? First and foremost, it’s extraordinary how good this tastes – as good as a top quality roast shoulder of pork straight from the oven – except that it is eaten at room temperature.

To enjoy this dish, remove it from the tin, place it length ways on a plate – and slice – serve with oven roasted potatoes, a salad … anything you like really! The taste is superb and the quantity is deceptively large. It will serve three to four comfortably.

The smell, appearance, and texture of the pork itself are superb, it comes with a liberal amount of pork stock/ sauce from the cooking process, which has great flavour – and overall, if you cooked a good quality joint of pork from scratch, and served it cold, you would be hard put to beat this.
