A very high quality, 100% natural, coq au vin prepared by Maison Godard in the French Perigord.
Prepared with tender pieces of rooster and vegetables simmered in a rich and flavoursome red wine sauce, which is deep and well balanced.
Ingredients
Rooster (47%), pork, carrots. Sauce: Cahors wine (18%), duck stock, onion, wheat flour, duck fat, celery, eggs, salt, corn flour, modified starch, garlic, parsley, sugar, spices.

Pour contents into a saucepan and warm gently until hot.
Serve with mashed potatoes, buttered new potatoes, steamed rice, fresh tagliatelle – anything to absorb the delicious sauce!

Tried this and can say it is delicious; one tin is more than sufficient for four helpings. The first day we had it with mashed potato and peas. Day two with pasta and button mushrooms. I was surprised that button mushroom was not included in the menu and also I added a little salt and pepper for the second day
