Some of the finest artichokes we have tasted – each tin contains 12 baby artichoke hearts with stem.
Although “baby” artichokes, these are large compared to the artichokes typically found in jars and you have a generous amount per tin as it is the drained weight indicated, so 1.1kg of artichokes.
Harvested when small and tender, each artichoke is carefully prepared and preserved in sunflower oil with a touch of wine vinegar, herbs and spices.
The result are some delicious artichokes hearts with stem. which are tender the whole way through – one artichoke is large enough to make a nice antipasti for one.
They are so good and tender that not additional seasoning is required.
