A 100% and very tasty choucroute (sauerkraut) prepared with quality pieces of duck confit, duck sausage, and smoked pork breast cooked with the traditional pickled cabbage in Sylvaner wine.
The flavour is very satisfying, very authentic and the overall dish is not too fatty as choucroute can often be a little heavy!
The cabbage is excellent (seasoned with a regional white wine!) and the overall dish is excellent!
Preparation Tips: pour contents into either a saucepan or oven dish and warm until hot. Serve with the pieces of meat and charcuterie on top and goes well with peeled and boiled potatoes.
Goes well with any white wine from Alsace served chilled.
