A very high quality morel mushroom sauce with a deep and well balanced flavour.
Prepared by Castaing in the Landes region of South West France.
Castaing have a France wide reputation for excellence and supply the Parisian Grande Epicerie, the French equivalent to Harrods.
Ingredients
Water, poultry stock, cream, dried morel mushrooms, butter, wheat flour, shallots, white wine (sulphites), modified corn starch, Madeira wine (sulphites), leeks, onions, carrots, celery, tomato, garlic, salt, pepper, herbs and spices.
