French Duck Terrine With Truffle Juice | 180g Serves 2-3

A very enjoyable duck pate from South West France seasoned with black truffle juice.

Makes a very enjoyable starter for 2-3 people served at room temperature on some warm toast, crusty French bread or baguette. Also works well on canapes if you are entertaining.

In terms of sides and accompaniments, cornichons, pickled onions or fig chutney all work well as does a lightly dressed green salad.

Goes well with a glass of red wine.

Storage? These pates are preserves and have an average of one years life minimum and can be stored in a cupboard. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.

Ingredients? Pork meat and pork fat, duck meat, pork liver, chicken liver, water, black truffle juice, eggs, milk protein, white wine (contains sulphites), pepper, shallot, antioxidant (sodium disulphite), natural flavouring, garlic, cinnamon, cloves and rosemary.
