A very enjoyable French meal for confit enthusiasts!
Duck confit served with Sarladaise style potatoes (sliced potatoes cooked in duck fat seasoned with larding bacon, garlic and parsley).
Shelf Life & Storage? Can be stored in a cupboard 9 months minimum. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.
Preparation Tips
To enjoy this dish at it’s best, pour the contents of the tin into a frying pan, putting the duck skin face down so that it browns. Warm gently for 20 minutes, regularly turning the potatoes so that they become golden brown all over. Then turn your confit over and cook for a further 5 minutes. Goes well with a side salad.

Very disappointing. Lots of very nice sardalaise potatoes, but three tiny pieces of duck – why only three, in a tin aimed at two people. And where did they find such little ducks?
