A very enjoyable duck foie gras en bloc prepared for us by Castaing Foie Gras, a respected producer in the Landes region of South West France. Opens with a tin opener.
This particular foie gras has been a best seller in our range now for over 2 decades and it has a nice colour, flavour and texture.
Shelf Life & Storage? Store in a cupboard up to 2 years. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 2 days.
Foie Gras Serving Tips
Foie gras is best enjoyed served cool, thinly sliced on lightly toasted bread, ideally complemented with either a sauternes wine jelly or fig jam.
