A fairly recent discovery and addition to our range, worthy of some of the finest balsamic vinegars from Modena – but made with apple!

This award-winning Italian apple vinegar is produced in Lombardy using the juice of carefully selected Red and Golden Delicious apples. It is then matured in oak barrels for four to five years. During this time it develops an extraordinary balance of fruit, gentle acidity and rich caramel notes that compare well to a fine aged balsamic vinegar.

It really has magnificent flavour and several of our staff now use this instead of traditional balsamic vinegar.

The simplest and best way to use this is to drizzle it over any salad, which it will transform into something special.
