As good as it get’s – a ready to enjoy duck foie gras entier (the best grade available) prepared by Edouard Artzner foie gras specialists in Alsace.
Edouard Artzner are one of France’s oldest and most reputed foie gras houses and their foie gras “entier” are the best ones they do. It is fully ready to eat and “entier” refers simply to the fact they use the best quality whole foie gras lobes to make these.
We would rate this one of the very best foie gras we have tried with near perfect texture and a superb flavour and quite exceptional.
Foie Gras Serving Suggestions? Foie gras is best enjoyed in served cool in medium fine slices on brioche or fine slices of lightly toasted bread. The natural wine pairing would be a Sauternes. In terms of accompaniments, you can either enjoy it as it is (quite delicious!), with a very little ground salt and pepper, or with a sauternes wine jelly or fig jam.
Shelf Life & Storage? Can be stored in a cupboard 2 years. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.
