Grade EXTRA (the highest quality available) dried morel mushrooms selected and packaged by Plantin in France.
Plantin have been drying mushrooms for almost a century and have a reputation for excellence supplying chefs (including Michelin starred) world wide.
These morels are large, well formed, have superb flavour and retain their structure well when rehydrated and during cooking.

Storage and best before?
Cooking Preparation Tips
Place mushrooms in a bowl and cover with lukewarm water. Leave for 45 minutes until fully softened. Lift mushrooms out gently and rinse thoroughly to remove any grit.
Do not throw away the soaking water. Strain carefully through muslin or a fine sieve. This liquid contains enormous flavour and makes incredible sauces.
For best results sauté gently in butter, add cream, white wine or stock and allow flavours to fully develop.
