A very enjoyable duck foie gras en bloc prepared for us by Maison Godard in the French Perigord region.
Like everything Maison Godard produce, the quality is very high.
At it’s best served in slices (or spread) on warm toast. A little fig jam goes well.
Ingredients
Duck foie gras, water, salt, spices, preserving agent (sodium nitrite).
Storage and shelf life?
In a cupboard 1 year minimum. Once open in a fridge and consume within 2 days - if you are measured enough to not enjoy it all at once!
