Duck Confit La Belle Chaurienne (800g Tin 2/3 Duck Legs)

A high quality and 100% natural duck confit prepared for us by La Belle Chaurienne in South West France.

Each tin contains 2 – 3 duck confit legs (depending on weight) and serves two generously.

Shelf Life & Storage? Can be stored in a cupboard 2 years. Once open, store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.

Duck Confit Preparation Tips

Before opening your tin of confit, place it in warm water for 15 minutes. This helps loosen the duck fat and makes it easier to prise out the duck legs.

Remove duck legs from tin and place in an oven tray or grill and cook at middling heat (180c) until golden brown – usually about 20 minutes.

With regards accompaniments, confit goes well with roast potatoes, salad, lentils, you can add it to lingot beans to make your own cassoulet … Keep the duck fat, which you can use to roast potatoes.
