A high quality anchovy paste with superb flavour prepared for us by Agostina Recca in Southern Italy.
The flavour is superb – salty, seafood with a deep and lingering and very satisfying taste of anchovy.
It’s so good, you’ll find yourself eating it from a teaspoon.
Perfect to add to halved cherry tomatoes and all sorts of chopped raw vegetables for canapes as well as an ingredient and salt substitute, for example in tomato sauce.
It’s a little known and superb ingredient – much easier to use than anchovy fillets as you just squeeze the tube, and the flavour it top!
Anchovy 90%, salt, sunflower oil.
