Pruneaux D’Agen Super Geants
Description
Very very large and moist, unpitted (stone in) Agen prunes renowned for their taste and texture.
We personally feel that stone (unpitted) agen prunes taste even better than the pitted variety – these prunes are calibre “super geant” which are particularly large.
They are very moist, almost like confectionery and if you have tried a pruneaux fourres (stuffed agen prunes), they are quite similar they are so full. Exceptionally good as prunes go.
Agen prunes are delicious incorporated into breakfast cereals as part of your five a day and notoriously high in fibre.
Agen prune can also be used more creatively and added to pates and stews, traditionally rabbit.
Our Agen prunes are selected and packaged by Maison Cotolot who have been preparing Agen prunes since 1906 and of very high quality.
