A superb duck confit speciality – a whole duck which has been confit – and one of the best confit we have tried.

To prepare and enjoy

  1. Remove the whole duck from it’s tin (placing the tin in tepid water helps loosen the duck fat)
  2. Place the excess duck fat in a jar – this can be used to roast potatoes and vegetables
  3. Brush off any excess fat from the duck and place in an oven dish
  4. Place in a pre-heated oven 180g for around 35-40 minutes until the skin on top is crisp and golden brown.


Serve with oven roasted potatoes (you can use the duck fat from your confit) or side vegetables of your choice!

Enjoy with a good red wine – et voila!

These tins can be stored in the garage until use. Prior to using bring up to room temperature to loosen the duck fat in the tin.
