An excellent recent find! We’ve had our eye on this speciality by Plantin for some time and finally decided to try it … and we’re very pleased!
The only caveat is that we just took in a sample quantity and so have few for now (many more on their way!) but really like the product!
It is finely sliced summer truffle in oil – the flavour is lighter than the Winter truffle naturally, but really pleasant.
And we found the best way to eat it was just with a teaspoon … a little indulgence.
But you could also add it on canapes, alongside cheese, with pasta …
