A delicacy from South West France very similar in flavour and texture to the more well know duck confit.
Sliced duck gizzards which are cooked and preserved in duck fat.
To enjoy open jar, place them in a frying pan, heat them gently until golden brown – serve with either roast potatoes or a side salad.
Serves 2 as a starter or 1 as a main.
Duck gizzards, duck fat, salt, pepper.
Store in a cupboard up to 3 years. Once open store in a fridge and consume within 3 days.
