A good quality, flavoursome and very enjoyable duck foie gras seasoned with a little Sauternes wine, which just adds a hint of sweetness to the foie gras. The texture is good and the overall flavour is very enjoyable indeed.
Best enjoyed served cool on some lightly sliced toasted bread, cut in fine slices, with additional fig chutney.
Another way to enjoy foie gras is to add a little salt and pepper.
