|Storage & Shelf Life:||Store in a fridge (in which case shelf life 3 - 5 days) or more usually freeze your lobe in which case these can be kept for 7 months.|

When these foie gras lobes reach you, they are chilled with 3 – 5 days life – you then freeze these which prolongs their life to a good 7 months (minimum) and use them as and when you need them – a good method is to slice your foie gras into half inch slices and then freeze them so that you have indidivual portions.
Fresh lobes can be used to make your own foie gras terrine, or simply sear/ panfry a 1/2 inch slice a few seconds each side, and a little salt & pepper and enjoy on pain d’epices with a Sauternes wine.
