A fresh Italian cow’s milk cheese, made from mozzarella and cream.
Burrata mean ‘buttered’ in Italian. The outer shell of the cheese is mozzarella and the inside is succulent and soft from the mozzarella and cream combination.
It’s delicious seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper and then served with salad, prosciutto, fresh tomatoes with olive oil, or pasta.
Burratina is smaller in size than the typical burrata.
