Long gone are my days of frequent business travel to Spain with many visits to wonderful tapas bars in Madrid and Barcelona, where one of my fondest memories is the morcilla, quite different to the usual British black pudding. Now I have discovered the Brindisa morcilla with onions which is simply delicious!
It is soft and very tasty with the sweetness of the onions, mildly spiced, and no fat.
It goes particularly well fried with eggs and some fried Irish potato bread. It’s like meeting up again with a long-lost friend.
