If you enjoy chorizo – try this! The quality and taste and both superb!
This sliced chorizo is made from the meat of iberico pigs that spent 10-12 weeks fattening on acorns on the dehesa of Extremadura.
This sausage is simply seasoned with salt, garlic and mild, smoked pimenton de la Vera, creating a perfect balance between the smokiness of the spice and the rich flavours of the acorn-fed pork.
Brindisa’s sliced embutidos are produced by Castro y Gonzalez, a family business that has specialised in the production of Iberico charcuterie for over 100 years. This charcuterie is made from the best cuts of meat of the producer’s herd of pigs, which have taken part in the acorn fattening period, the montanera, on their own land in the dehesas.
All the curing of the hams and charcuterie takes place in the famous ham curing town of Guijelo in Salamanca.
Spanish pork, salt, paprika, garlic, oregano.
